How much does it cost? A straight fee of $500 per 8 hour day ($62.50/hour.) This includes product photography, copywriting/technical writing, and work on an Internet store built on the Yahoo platform. You get two people working on your project for this fee, and you get access to our knowledge of how to run an online store, including letters and scripts we use, and mailing experience. If there are any travel expenses incurred they will be billed at cost plus time spent traveling.

We do our best to make our clients happy, we work diligently and conscientiously. And your assurance is this: if you don’t like the way things are going, fire us and hire someone else. If this sounds kind of harsh, just consider that at least this is possible – because with the Yahoo!Store platform anyone can walk in and take over the show. In other words, we won’t be using any proprietary software or expertise, so you do have the option of choosing whoever you want to do the store building.
The fact is, you can hire firms who have the technical capability to do a slicker job than we can. We do things pretty simple, without complicated programming. Our expertise is in making a store that looks clean, easy to understand, visually appealing without clutter – something that simply works at a reasonable cost. There’s a range of colors, text styles, and backgrounds that can be used. You can dictate the best color scheme and design for your business if you want. You can change colors, fonts and some other design elements very easily even after the store is built.
Once the store is built you can run it yourself if you want. You get access to all the policies and procedures we’ve developed in running our own store, which might be pretty handy if, for example, you don’t know how to accept orders from overseas, or maybe how to create inventory numbers for your merchandise, etc.
We have a 5 star rating on Yahoo Shopping (that’s as high as you can get), and we’ll tell you everything we’ve learned about how to achieve that rating. We don’t claim to be world-famous experts at web site design. Small and technically unsophisticated is more like it (and honest...) We just get the job done at a reasonable cost.
What we can’t/won’t do: search engine optimization. Actually we will assist and suggest search engine friendly keywords and structure. But more detailed SEO work is better left to the professionals.

There’s another way to do this: we train you. We can come to you, or you to us. You still get all the info and procedures we’ve developed for photography, writing, and working with the Yahoo platform. We show you what we know about building the store and running the business. Promotion - Marketing
On the Internet, getting traffic to your web site is what it’s all about. Putting up a web site is like buying a deserted island out in the Pacific ocean, far from land and not even in the shipping lanes – you’ll never be found out there.
So you get some good quality links to your site, and that’s like building an airport – now you can get some visitors. If you have some valuable informative content, that’s like building a nice hotel on your island, now your visitors have a reason to come and stay a while and spend money. If your web site looks professional you’ll be better able to attract and keep clients, just like you’d want to stay in a nicely designed, clean hotel with plumbing that actually works.
Then maybe you run a pay-per-click advertising campaign with Google Adwords and other PPC engines. This can be like running a TV spot on a popular show (probably a whole lot cheaper.) Now you’ve got the attention of your target clients and you can sell to them.
After a while, you’ll be discovered by the search engines, such as Google and Yahoo. This is like having cruise ships arriving at your island unloading paying customers. And you don’t have to pay them to stop by, just provide a worthwhile experience.
How This Works...
1) First thing we’ll do for you is run an analysis of your store idea to get an idea of the competition and demand for your product or service – you’ll get a better grasp of how to approach your Internet marketing.
2) If you have a service business, there are ways to promote it on the Internet, ask us.
3) If your business is regional, that is, if it would only work for a particular locality (such as a local bakery, car wash, lawyer, etc.) there are now ways to focus your marketing efforts to a local group using the Internet, and it may be more cost effective than any other type of promotion.
4) There are ways to combine Internet marketing and regular US mail postcard marketing. This might work really well for some businesses.
5) Linking is important. It’s a good idea to link your site to others so you can be found by search engines.
6) We’ll write the descriptions of your products/services in such a way that you’ll be found by the search engines. Using the correct keywords is critical to getting found by natural (free, unpaid) search.
7) I don’t claim to be a world famous Internet marketing expert, but I’ve studied some of what they have to say. You may want to hire an expert in this area, it’s important to get it right.
Photography
We do the product photography in our warehouse. It’s also possible that we could make the photos at your facility if that makes more sense. Generally you ship the products to us, we photograph them and ship them back to you. All of this at your expense, of course...:)
What else is needed:
We’ll provide a privacy policy/terms & conditions page (boiler plate, composed by a legal team for web site use, see your lawyer to tune it to your particular business), info page (about your business), explanation of shipping/handling/returns.
You’ll get the “keys” to the shop: Yahoo password and security key.

It's in an industrial area of Hemet on about ½ acre, good steel building, nice renovated 1000 sq. ft. office. So you could buy the warehouse, a functioning Internet store, inventory, domain name set.
